(P)LAYING ON THE TRACKS

Shall we leave this place to somewhere more comfortable? The trains and their tracks, and the infrastructure built around them is still very much intact, but the classic idea of the rail-car seems to be fading into the shadows of more modern transportation. Fair enough. While I don't care for the modern design of most vehicles it isn't so much the train itself that draws my attention—it is the tracks, the tunnels they needle through, the bridges they grace. The tracks seem to have sewn their own world, and occasionally it's only right to take a nap just alongside one of its silver rails.
